Meet Samantha
Hi, I’m Samantha, a pediatric speech-language pathologist and mom of three.
I work with children from infancy through adolescence in Northbrook and surrounding suburbs, supporting the development of communication skills in ways that feel natural, engaging, and meaningful. My areas of focus include expressive and receptive language, social communication, narrative language, speech sound development (including Childhood Apraxia of Speech), and language-based learning challenges.
My approach is rooted in the DIR/Floortime® model, which means I prioritize connection, play, and each child’s individual differences as the foundation for growth. I believe children learn best when they feel understood, engaged, and supported—and I partner closely with families to create strategies that build on your child’s strengths and carry over into everyday life.
As a parent myself, I understand how overwhelming it can feel when you’re not sure how to help your child. My goal is to guide you through that process with clarity, support, and practical tools that make a difference.
When I’m not working (because work often looks like play!), I love spending time with my children, Eliza, Logan, and Reese, my husband David, and our goldendoodle, Ziggy. You’ll usually find us outside, traveling, trying new restaurants, or enjoying a good Broadway show.
